Death and Beyond

Soundscape of the hereafter

PROGRAM
DETAILS
Voces Suaves ensemble vocal

What awaits us after death? The question which is central in La Divina Commedia assumes universal dimensions in the festival debut of the Voces Suaves. These young masters of the Italian madrigal navigate through a polyphonic soundscape of Dante’s hereafter. In the footsteps of Monteverdi, Gesualdo, Luzzaschi and many others, they take us from hell to heaven.
