Battle Music by Kerll, Biber, Schmelzer and Fux

With this concert in the Baroque 'Allaturca' mode, Lorenz Duftschmid and Vladimir Ivanoff, evoke the Turkish siege of Vienna on the 12th September 1683. They will play music by Johann Heinrich Schmelzer, Georg Muffat, Heinrich Ignaz, Franz Biber and Johann Kaspar Kerl, together with original Turkish music from the same period.
