About the organization

MA Festival (Festival van Vlaanderen Brugge) is a ten-day summer classical music festival with about 25 concerts that always take place in early August. You will assist the production manager with the preparations (from mid-June) and during the festival (until August 13).

Tasks

During the preparation, you will assist with

• preparing, among other things, technical sheets, lists of materials and volunteer planning

• making appointments with artists, volunteers and locations

• applying for permits

During the festival

• are you responsible for the location of a few concerts

• are you a point of contact for volunteers

• helps you build and dismantle

• manage your volunteers

• you are partly responsible for ensuring that material ends up in the right place

• be ready to resolve issues that arise

Profile

• You work in a structured way and can keep an overview

• You take the initiative and see work

• You keep calm in stressful situations

• You enjoy working in a team

• You can communicate clearly

• You have a love for culture

• Even if you don't fully meet this profile yet, you have the will to strengthen your competences

• You are fluent in Dutch and English (French is a plus)

• A B driving license is a plus

• You will receive a gross compensation of 1,055.98 euro/month, your commute by public transport will be reimbursed, you will receive a telephone allowance

• You work full-time between June 15 and August 13 (start date is negotiable)

• During the festival (31/07- 09/08), you will stay in Bruges (we can provide a place to stay)
